Terms and Conditions

 

Delivery and Returns

​

Where possible we keep stock of our items but sometimes we may have to order direct from the supplier. When this happens it can take up to 2 weeks from order to delivery date. We have the right to change or amend any estimated stock dates as and when necessary.

If the item is in stock and ready to be shipped you can expect you order to be delivered within 5-7 working days.

Safe In Their Seat/House Of Bébé are not responsible for any delays incurred after the order has left our warehouse. Although we use reliable couriers, sometimes delays can happen.

We do not ship out orders on weekends so orders placed on Friday will be shipped the following Monday (bank holiday exclusions apply)

You will receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched from us. 

Delivery is free on all orders over £100 unless stated otherwise (furniture delivery and 2 man delivery may incur a fee)

Delivery for orders under £100 is subject to sizing - this will be calculated at the checkout.

Click and Collect/Store Pickup

 

As well as home delivery, we offer in store collection for most of our products. Again, most of our products will be kept in stock but from time to time there may be a delay on collecting in store if we are awaiting stock or have to order an item in specifically. Please do not travel to the store before receiving your ‘collection is ready’ email notification. Items will usually be ready to collect within 2-3 working days if in stock.

What do I need to bring?:
Identification (this must match the name and address on the order)
Order Number 

‘Collection is ready’ notification (email or text)

Note: you will be required to sign for your collection when you receive the order. It is your responsibility to ensure all items on the order are received before signing.

Returning an order

 

You have up to 28 days from the purchase date to return an item to us. Returning an item is at your own cost and original delivery cost will not be refunded for items returned due to change of mind. We can arrange courier collection from your address for a fee of £20 which will be deducted from your refund total.


Items MUST be returned in a brand new, clean condition with no signs of wear or use. You MUST include all original packaging and tags which should still be attached to the items if present.

Returns Exclusions:

CAR SEAT RETURNS ARE NOT PERMITTED UNLESS FAULTY. Change of mind, or if the seat is unsuitable for your child/car is not a valid return reason and therefore cannot be returned. Please ensure vehicle compatibility and suitability is checked with us before placing an order for a car seat.

 

Returns will be processed within 5-7 working days of us receiving it. Please allow this time for the refund to go back to your original payment method.

Please send your items TRACKED or obtain proof of postage as any items lost in transit back to us will not be processed and we accept no responsibility for the items before they arrive back with us.

Recycling and Packaging

We frequently recycle and reuse our boxes so sometimes you may receive your order in a box with different product details or branding to the items you have actually ordered. Please do not worry, your order will be packaged inside of this outer box as we are trying to minimalise waste where possible. 


We also try to ship as little boxes to you as possible so if you have ordered smaller items along with larger boxes we will package these all together in the main large box. Please thoroughly check inside of your order when you receive it before contacting us regarding missing or delayed items.

 

Faulty Items 


If you have received your order and have noticed a fault please contact us straight away. If your item develops a fault within the manufacturers warranty period we will replace or repair the item where possible. If the item is out of the warranty period we can offer repairs but this will incur a charge (dependent on issue and manufacturer)
